Tous Les Jours

Tous Les Jours is a Korean bakery that has started in the U.S. I went WOW when I found Tous Les Jours on North Lamar. It made me to realize that Austin has changed so much!

ベーカリーの名前はTous Les Joursとフランス語だけど何も知らずにたまたまあったので行ってみたベーカリーは韓国のベーカリーだった。オースチンでこんなベーカリーを見つける事はまずないのでびっくり。

I did not know anything about it, so I was surprised as soon as I walked in because it was like a bakery in Japan.

入ってみて初めに感じた事は、うわっ日本にいるみたい。

I liked how they had a decent size eating/drinking area.

ちゃんと食べれる場所もあるのでリラックスできた。

I ordered their sweet bean buns, however I was little disappointed because I had a better one before in Tokyo. But their other Korean baked goods were good.

あんぱんを買ってみたけどちょっとがっかり。日本で食べたあんぱんの方が美味しかったので•••　食べた事のない韓国の菓子パンは美味しかった♥

Upper Crust Bakery / アッパークラストベーカリー

I have always loved Upper Crust Bakery since I was 19. It is my favorite bakery in Austin. Their sweets, bread and lunch sandwiches are delicious.

19歳の頃から大好きなオースチンにあるアッパークラストベーカリー。スイーツからパンやランチのサンドイッチはみんな美味しい。

I am into their half chicken salad sandwich and cup of soup lunch menu lately.

最近はハーフサイズのチキンサラダサンドイッチとスープのセットにはまっている。

I ordered their tortilla soup for the first time today. It was bit spicy. I liked how it got a lot of veggies in it.

今日は初めてトルティーヤスープに挑戦した。ちょっとだけ辛かったけど野菜がたくさん入っていたのでお腹もふくれて満足。

近所にあるSwedishベーカリーは最近のお気に入り♥

週末はお店はめちゃめちゃ混んでいるので週末は行かないようにしています。

なぜか近所にはスエーデンの博物館やスエーデンの小さなお店がたくさん。

Swedish bakery in my neighborhood has become my favorite bakery lately. The store gets really packed with so many customers on weekends, so I avoid going there on weekends. Although I have never met any Swedish people in this area, there is a Swedish Museum and a Swedish grocery store also

Swedishベーカリーでは大きなシュークリームを買いました。アメリカっぽく私の拳の２個分くらいあるサイズのシュークリーム。 値段は３ドルでした。 日本のシュークリームとは違って生地は固めだし中のクリームはバタークリームみたくなっていてあまり甘くはないけど美味しいとは感じなかった。

I bought a huge French Cream Puff from Swedish Bakery for $3, but I did not really like it. The cream tasted like butter cream and the crust was bit hard.

もうすぐバレンタインなのでお店にはバレンタイン用のクッキーがたくさん並んでいました。

Valentine's day is coming up soon, so I saw a lot of Valentine cookies♥
